Datavisualisation
Analog Work
Concept Development
You often see a counter-movement emerge in response to something that is mainstream at a particular
moment.
In today’s world, being more analog might be a counter-movement to the digital world we live in. What
fascinates me is that this analog world often takes place online. This contrast is something I find very
interesting.
As a young adult who has grown up surrounded by computers, I find myself wondering: how did graphic
designers work in the past, and is it still possible to work that way today?
I want to show people how beautiful the world can be when you simply look around instead of being caught
up in an online world.
I aim to do this by creating a small book filled with data visualisations of the absurd observations I
have made.
The individual visualisations might not mean much on their own, but a collection of different
observations will hopefully open up an offline world for others.
